I’m often asked for recommendations of Wilmington restaurants by my destination wedding couples or their out-of-town guests. Luckily, your Wilmington wedding officiant is also a lifestyle
Coastal Carolinas Premier Wedding Officiant
Sherri has a natural talent for creating meaningful connections, whether in the community, within groups, or between couples. Officiating weddings is a natural extension of that knack, and she considers it an honor to unite two people. Her background as a professional writer and former radio personality helps her create – and deliver – a ceremony that reflects each couple’s unique bond and commitment.
From incorporating rituals or special passages, to simply finding the right words, her creativity can help guide each couple in creating a ceremony that’s truly special. Sherri appreciates all walks of life and performs weddings, elopements, vow renewals, and celebrations of life, for all – Love is Love.
As an officiant, her style is warm and personable, and she’s a firm believer in being able to laugh at yourself.
She holds a B.A. in Communications from East Carolina University and is also an accomplished journalist, photographer, and broadcast and event announcer. When not performing wedding ceremonies, Sherri enjoys live music, travelling with her husband Matt, spontaneous kitchen dance parties, and taking a yoga class, or two.
Sherri officiates weddings in Wilmington, NC, and the surrounding areas, including Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Topsail Beach, Oak Island, Ocean Isle Beach, Holden Beach, Myrtle Beach, and beyond. She is also available to travel across North Carolina & South Carolina, or elsewhere for your wedding.
Officiant Sherri is an ordained minister through Universal Brotherhood Movement. A lover of animals, laughter, and life’s diversity, she is also a member of the International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants (IAPWO) – http://iapwo.org.
